That’s essentially done now, but is blocked on the lack of support for a SVN proxy in launchpad builders (bug #1668358).

I looked into supporting this from snapcraft, but subversion is not built for these types of general ci systems, seems it comes from a date where you’d roll your own thing to build stuff.

See here the installation procedure if you think it could be interensting: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/RetroPie-Ubuntu-16.04-LTS-x86-Flavor/. It was designed to run on the RaspberryPi but it has also support for the O-DROID and for PC running debian based distros.
Another suggestion is [GDevelop] (http://www.compilgames.net) platform for creating 2D games for desktop, mobile and or HTML5 browsers.
Also [Cocos2d-x] (http://www.cocos2d-x.org/cocos2dx) could be a nice app to snap. It allows you to create 2D games for various platforms. Featured games include Angry Birds Fight, Geometry Dash, BADLANDS and many others.
