Yikes, I didn’t realize I was so out-of-date. They need an announcement mailing list or something. Next time, feel free to log a bug!

Anyway, I’ve got you covered, especially if you can help give it a test run:

Games, especially Steam

Dev tools, like Netbeans, Wing, JDK, etc.

I would love to see Sigil added to the list too.

I think it could be nice to have a snap of RetroPie, the retrogaming platform. See here the installation procedure if you think it could be interensting: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/RetroPie-Ubuntu-16.04-LTS-x86-Flavor/. It was designed to run on the RaspberryPi but it has also support for the O-DROID and for PC running debian based distros. :race_car: :video_game: :city_dusk: :computer:

Another suggestion is [GDevelop] (http://www.compilgames.net) platform for creating 2D games for desktop, mobile and or HTML5 browsers.

Also [Cocos2d-x] (http://www.cocos2d-x.org/cocos2dx) could be a nice app to snap. It allows you to create 2D games for various platforms. Featured games include Angry Birds Fight, Geometry Dash, BADLANDS and many others.

The Gnome Shell, so we can have the latest stable Shell without the need to upgrade the whole system. Ubuntu GNOME Personal

i tried (and failed) … perhaps someone else feels like rolling a combined snap with ring-daemon and gnome-ring … (involves some dbus interface tinkering)

Have you done this tutorial?
