After installing, running the executable gives only terminal output:
“cannot change profile for the next exec call”
could you give some more specific info ?
(what exactly did you try to run, where did you install (which distro, what is the output of “snap version” etc))
Here are more details:
Installation method was just “sudo snap install wordpress-desktop” (from http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2017/05/wordpress-desktop-app-snap )
Execution I tried clicking on the dash icon and running from the terminal but don’t get a GUI.
Result was the error posted above.

this does not look like an official kernel … and your error message indicates a problem with security profiles (either apparmor or seccomp)
Crikey - I had no idea. I’m not the type to play with kernels. Okay, let’s assume that’s the issue. I’ll look into restoring the kernel to default and report back.
