Hello again, some people might think this was too fast of a new release after reading an announcement just some hours ago. Fear not, nothing is wrong with 2.29.
What 2.29.1 brings to the table are some small adjustments to snapcraft as a snap which we just made a call for testing for Call for testing: snapcraft
The work on 2.29.1 is rather simple and can be skimmed over on the milestone. Of relevant interest are:
- Use of the
gitstanza in `version which was introduced in 2.29 - Better detection when snapcraft is running from a snap.
There is no intention of this release making its way into debian package form.
