Almost done building: https://launchpad.net/~chromium-team/+snap/chromium-snap-from-source-stable/+build/1923173

Then AFAIK it will go to candidate channel for manual testing before getting released to the stable channel.

Already… :frowning:

Bit odd… 117 has been released but chromiumdash. appspot. com/ releases?platform=Linux is still showing 116 100%: 117 117.0.5938.62 Sep 12 2023 116 116.0.5845.187 (100%) Sep 11 2023

Do you have a clue about what that 100% means?

If I were to open that and read it, I would conclude that the current version were 117.0.5938.62. But I never do, a notifier script queries https://versionhistory.googleapis.com/v1/chrome/platforms/linux/channels/stable/versions/all/releases and up to now the first element would be the latest version. Now Google broke that pattern. I wonder if it is related to that 100% thing.

The vastly superior but phased out (though apparently still working fine) https://omahaproxy.appspot.com/ still reports 116 for stable…

OK I found https://chromiumdash.appspot.com/fetch_releases?channel=Stable&platform=Linux. I’ll rewrite the script once again, hoping this stays a thing for a bit more than a couple of months this time.

According to it 117.0.5938.62 is released so I’m updating the repository and subsequently dispatching new builds.

No idea I’m afraid - but it’s always been assigned to the top entry before - I suspect some sort of data mishandling…
