Similar to what was done for the chromium snap a while ago, I have added the system-packages-doc
plug to the firefox snap (upstream change that landed in the 92 branch, to become the next stable release in September), and I am hereby requesting a store assertion to enable auto-connection, in accordance with @zyga’s recommendation .
This will allow users to browse HTML documentation installed on their system in /usr/share/doc
.
Thanks for considering it.
+1 from me for auto-connect system-package-doc
to firefox
since using the browser to read HTML documentation is common for users. Can other @reviewers please vote?
+1 from me too - this is a pretty common use-case for browsers.

That’s two votes in favour, and none against. Can this go ahead?
@oSoMoN yes. Apologize for the delay. +2 votes for, 0 votes against. Granting auto-connect of system-package-doc
to firefox
. This is now live.
