Ardour is an audio production tool & Digital Audio Workstation. As such it needs auto-connections to various audio-related interfaces & USB in order to use it for audio production with actual hardware.
This request revolves around these interfaces:
audio-record
audio-playback
alsa
jack1
raw-usb

Given the nature of the snap, a user can expect these interfaces to be connection automatically so +1 from me
As @cav said, the requested interfaces makes sense for an audio production tool. Thus, +1 from me too

Perhaps this trick may help: https://snapcraft-alsa.readthedocs.io/en/latest/
I think it does autoconnect audio-record and audio-playback through alsa.

audio-playback
should be auto-connected by default.
+2 votes for, 0 votes against, granting auto-connect of interfaces audio-record
, alsa
, jack1
and raw-usb
to snap ardour-snap
. This is now live.
