The block-devices interface is reserved for snaps that require raw disk access and is not usually needed for typical snaps. This interface grants device ownership to the snap. If the access is required, consider using a brand store or create a forum topic at https://forum.snapcraft.io/ using the ‘store’ category if this can be discussed in public or the ‘sensitive’ category if the discussion should remain private. Please allow this interface in https://snapcraft.io/hw-probe to collect SMART reports by smartctl -x /dev/sdX command. The reports are depersonalized properly at client side (removed serial numbers and wwns).
Could you please also auto-connect it?
