Acrobat reader dc does not working after installed

I am using ubuntu 18.04,I Installed acrobat reader dc snap using gnome software, but after installed app and download the spanish language the app does not run in any way.

I did redone the Spanish install and it works fine here no issues, but do note that when snap completes download of setup file after selecting the preferred language it unpacks the installer and silently installs app in background which would take time depending on the system and then it launches the app after installing it.

I unsinstalled acrobat and reinstalled again, but I have the same problem. The app does not launch

Try launching snap from terminal and provide me logs.

snap run acrordrdc

If you are doing reinstall again then make sure you remove broken snap data or remove that directory completely from.

$HOME/snap/acrordrdc

Looks like broken install, can you remove snap data directory I mentioned above and re run snap from terminal and provide log and wait for it patiently to complete the install after selecting your language.

I did it, same error . I tried something different

I can not run it, something is wrong with acrobat snap I guess

are you running a wayland session ?

also do not use sudo when trying to collect logs for a thing that dies in a user session !

No I am not. I using kde neon 5.16.3 and Ubuntu 18.04. No wayland session

Maybe try getting that manually.

delete this folder "$HOME/snap/acrordrdc" then

winetricks downloads and installs that fine here without any issues.

Even if I donwload W2KSP4_EN.EXE manually, the process fails further down the line as a lot of the links to web.archive.org… cannot be resolved. Does anyone know what is going on and if there is a way around this?
