Now that Windows support is available for Windows, does that mean that we will be able to build snaps on Windows?

Yes, we will add support for Windows, we are still sorting a couple of integration issues and haven’t consolidated on a distribution mechanisms (akin to snaps on Linux and homebrew on OS X).
