Where does minecraft save screenshots in a snap?

The location where minecraft stored screenshots was a minor mystery in the pre-snap days and one that I finally solved. But I’m unable to locate the saved screen shots that I make with my snap version. It occurred to me that they might get tucked into the snap package. Do I have access to that? Where did the screenshots go this time?

The .minecraft directory for the snap is in ~/snap/minecraft/common, and screenshots are under that, in ~/snap/minecraft/common/.minecraft/screenshots.
