I posed an alias request five days ago. But no replies. The documentation on the alias request process does not deal with this outcome

Sorry for the silence on this so far, it is just not always possible for the review team to respond to or action requests immediately (or across weekends). We do have a 7-day voting period for alias requests, and try to get to everything within that time. Your request is most certainly on the backlog and will be addressed as soon as possible. I’ll make a start in that thread shortly.
thank you for the update. I was worried among all the more significant projects, little ones could get forgotten.
