Hello,
I am using core18 for my own package, but unlike the core package, the xdg-open command is missing from the core18 package. The xdg-open from xdg-utils doesn’t work at all.
What is the expected way to use xdg-open with core18?
Thanks.

It’s expected that core18 isn’t ready for general use yet
oh…too bad… The glibc in “core” is too old and I could not use it for making a binary package… It will just crash.
I thought that was what snapcraft cleanbuild
addressed.
The problem is my package requires a library which is not available in 16.04. I couldn’t build it with the lxd container.
you could try to build the library as a separate snascraft part from source
