Is there a place to request that existing snaps are updated?

2 apps I use regularly are already on the Store, but I don’t use them.

Zoom – https://www.zoom.com/ – because it’s very dated.

LogSeq – https://logseq.com/ – because:

  1. It’s an old version.
  2. The snap package doesn’t work with the Unity global menu bar. The AppImage package does work fine with global menus. So, I use that.

AFAIK, there is no way to ask for a Snap update. The only way would be to ask politely to the maintainer of the Snap (most are hobbyists).

Logseq (Install Logseq on Linux | Snap Store) : seems up to date. To manage the Unity desktop, maybe the maintainer of the snap will only have to add the line ‘- unity’ (below ‘plugs:’) into his snapcraft.yaml file.
