Any idea why?

anyone has any clue on this issue?

What is printed if you run snap-store.ubuntu-software from a terminal?

nothing is printed, just the ubuntu software app opens up

after an os reboot, the “Explore” tab loads up all apps. But the “Installed” tab does not load the installed snapsScreenshot%20from%202020-11-12%2015-31-24

with some more dmesg:

I have installed the “gnome-software” from apt and that actually shows all installed apps.Screenshot%20from%202020-11-12%2016-04-40

@robert.ancell might be able to help debug the problem. The AppArmor denials for mime should be harmless, and probably don’t point at the root cause. Hopefully we can silence them in a future version of the snap.

Hi @jamesh
Same issue here with two fresh ubuntu install and snap store search function (obn the web page) also down, so this might be an issue on Ubuntu snap server side right ?

Try kill the app and restart.

This is happening to me also. I’m on a Tumbleweed / KDE system, with all the bells and whistles. I even followed the instructions how to set up the whole snap(d) (store) (repository). Seems a little long winded the setup, flatpak was much faster, Please explain why and how this could be happening.I am a Dev-ops, and things usually work the first time they just break latter
