On first running, it goes to error: The container backend returned an unknown error status. This is a bug and should never happen, please contact the developers. This I am trying to do! The start of the console screen is: abampton@MSiHDD:~/UT$ sudo snap install ubuntu-sdk-ide --edge

ubuntu-sdk-ide (edge) 4.1 from Christian Dywan (kalikiana) installed

abampton@MSiHDD:~/UT$ ubuntu-sdk-ide

(process:113503): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.

Using the fallback ‘C’ locale.

Gtk-Message: Failed to load module “gail” etc etc for 7 pages of .odt. (Can’t upload .odt of course).

Any comment please?

That snap is abandoned. I doubt anyone has touched it for 5 years or more. I’d remove it and find some other way to install qtcreator and whatever else you need.

Oh, thanks. I was suspicious there was not developer. I’m trying to do this too quickly…it’s a problem inside a problem, as usual!
