On first running, it goes to error: The container backend returned an unknown error status. This is a bug and should never happen, please contact the developers. This I am trying to do! The start of the console screen is: abampton@MSiHDD:~/UT$ sudo snap install ubuntu-sdk-ide --edge

Any comment please?

That snap is abandoned. I doubt anyone has touched it for 5 years or more. I’d remove it and find some other way to install qtcreator and whatever else you need.

Oh, thanks. I was suspicious there was not developer. I’m trying to do this too quickly…it’s a problem inside a problem, as usual!
