Ubuntu-image snap fails with "invalid filesystem options set"

Hi,

I’m running into this bug while trying to build a Core image. My host is running Zesty. I notice that the bug was set to ‘Fix Released’, but the fix appears to be to build the ubuntu-image snap manually. Does anyone know of a better solution? It seems a little inconvenient to have to rebuild the tools before we can build a new Core image.
