I just managed built an image from a model assertion with the incorrect snap ID, by accident of course, but ubuntu-image doesn’t seem to validate the snap id is correct for the snap name. The end result is an image the does not initialize properly, as it fails when trying to validate the snap [ in the case it was the gadget snap ].
My question is, should ubuntu-image validate the snaps in the model assertion, and if so is this a bug ?
