Ubuntu Core input keyboard layout

Hi all,

I was wondering if there is a way to change the input keyboard layout in Ubuntu Core (the default locale is C.UTF-8 and the other alredy available ones are C and POSIX, while I would like to use another one).
Until now I have only found ways that use apt or dpkg, thus not suitable for UC.

Thank you in advance.

with UC16 we used to have xkb and key-utils in the base snap (but i’m not sure if the configuration files were writable there). In later base snaps these were dropped, so you’d have to ship the keymaps and configuration in your application snap for newer UC releases…
