Ubuntu Core 22 + Ubuntu Frame + GPU accelerated Chromium using wayland

Hi folks, I’m trying to build an Ubuntu Frame Chromium app with GPU acceleration on Intel Nuc hardware. I was able to start chromium w/o sandbox and acceleration flags as root in Ubuntu Frame but there’s no acceleration probably due to GPU drivers related issues. I noticed Intel publish and keep updated a non-free Linux GPI driver for Iris that is supposed to be pretty powerful and let me achieve my goal which is 4K 60fps smooth video playback on Celeron based low power Intel Nuc’s in Chromium.

Anyone can shed some light on this? Do I need to build a snap with Intel non-free drivers? Anything like that is readily available?

Thanks.
