Too slow snap downloads(Resolved)

When I am trying to download and install anything from the snap. I am getting a very slow initial download speed and after some time it cannot perform the installation. My internet is working fine.

Here is my fast.com result -

Download snap “core” (9066) from channel “stable” 0% 0B/s ages!

after some time waiting it gives -

I believe it will be necessary to provide some information:

  • Where are you located, and on which ISP?
  • Go to http://fastly-debug.com/ as suggested in one of the above posts.
  • What sort of speeds do you get from these two commands?

Hello folks,

We are no longer using Fastly, so the fastly-debug.com advice is no longer valid. Updated diagnostic advice is in Extremely slow snap downloads.

@roadmr Is there some FAQ/wiki-like place this kind of information can added? The forum is great but sometimes it conveys obsolete information - and this will get worse with time.
