Timeouts when trying to install or get info on snap packages

Is all OK with the snap store? I’m experiencing timeouts when trying to install/refresh snap packages:

error: cannot refresh "ldc2": cannot get refresh information for snap "ldc2": Post https://search.apps.ubuntu.com/api/v1/snaps/metadata: net/http: request canceled while waiting for connection (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers)

… while snap info succeeds but takes a long time.

This doesn’t seem to be a local network issue (everything else is working fine), so wondered if anything is up.

No pressure, but I’m due to give a short conference talk later this afternoon about snap packages (about 17:45 Berlin time), and it’s definitely be nicer if I could demonstrate installing and refreshing snap packages without these timeouts happening :wink:
