Hello everyone,
Now that 18.04 is out I want to take a moment to thank the snapd, snap store, and snapcraft teams, and everybody else (Canonical or otherwise) that participated to have snaps as a solid part of Ubuntu 18.04, with snaps installed by default.
It was quite the ride since Ubuntu 16.04, and although not as exhausting as the 16.04 cycle, the last few months have been intense to say the least, and it’s thanks to the unity, professionalism, and friendship that these teams have again shipped something that we’re proud of.
