Take over maintenance of eksctl snap

Hello everyone,

the eksctl snap is quite outdated (stable: 0.1.29 2019-04-16) and my attempt to contact the maintainer (I guess this is their Launchpad page?) were unsuccessful - I sent a message some months back and tried again today.

I work for Weaveworks and want to set up things for the eksctl team to start pushing snaps.

What’s the process for this? Thanks a lot in advance.

Nevermind. I set up a team account and filed a name dispute over eksctl with it.

Filing a dispute is the way to go for an unmaintained snap with an unresponsive developer. I’ve replied to your request with another request :slight_smile: Let’s handle this via the dispute mechanism.
