Hi, I noticed a major difference in size of resulting snap if the locale folder inside prime/usr/lib/ is removed. i mean these locales can be shared using some interface to the snap packaged application to make snap packages more small in size and hence portable.
Just like you guys got rid of fonts, and now snaps are using fonts installed on system.
I wish same could be done to gstremer plugins the also raise the size of package by 70 MB (in my case of a Qt based application).
Lets make snaps use Host system resources so that they can get smaller in size
