As discussed in #snappy, I suggest to make the alias handling procedure easier for everyone by not voting for every alias request but rather only vote to resolve when there is an alias conflict.
Meaning, users will automatically be granted their snapcraft defined aliases unless there is conflict in which case it must be resolved by vote. It will require infrastructure to support this but will save time for everyone and will scale better with less human resources involved.
