I’m still having the question, my snap appears to be working but I don’t know exactly why.

Another snap that uses the GStreamer pulsesink plugin works.

I don’t know if this is intentional actually. CC @jdstrand

Long time ago we said we would not grant recording automatically, only playback. Maybe the part that made that work broke over time.
