Spotify not showing in applications menu

As per title. At some point this week spotify ceased to show on the app menu, even after reinstalling and trying on a new user account.

Could you give the output of snap version and also the full tracking and installed lines of both snap info spotify and snap info core?

Example (my outputs from what I asked)

I’m on the same setup as you (except I’m running 16-2.31 (4017) # candidate for core; well, I switch between that and stable to see what’s working on different core versions, as you can see in the dropdown above) and don’t have this issue. Hmmm.

I believe it might be a bizarre wayland-only issue as per linky above - not just limited to spotify. Thank you for your time :+1:

Sorry I didn’t scroll up on your link. Are you using zsh or something as someone in that thread was or do you need to link this thread there because it’s an undiagnosed issue? :slight_smile:

I am using fish, but how should that be related?
