It would be cool and useful to have a “Source URL” or “Repo URL” or something of that sort to a snap’s metadata in addition to the contact URL and other info they have. This way on the Snap Store and/or with snap info * we could see it and track down the source for people who would want to contribute to the snap.
For open-source side projects, I could understand setting this URL as the contact URL but for bigger and commercial projects such as Docker, React, and more, the source URL is likely drastically different from the contact URL which might be a marketing or support website.
