Sosumi / openGL help

Hi,

I’m hoping someone here can help me. I’m trying to install sosumi on my Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon installation so that I can run a mac program in a virtual environment on my linux machine (Mainstage is the mac program in question)

A few hardware facts: cinnamon version 4.6.7 Linux kernal 5.4.0-152-generic Machine is an old dell optiplex 755 with core 2 duo

I installed sosumi through command line using some instructions I’ve since lost. I don’t understand much about command line but when I went to launch sosumi, I caught this inside the response:

No provider of glGetShaderiv found. Requires one of: Desktop OpenGL 2.0 OpenGL ES 2.0

So I used these instructions: https://www.wikihow.com/Install-Mesa-(OpenGL)-on-Linux-Mint And I succeeded in getting the correct confirmation pop up window at the end of those instructions. Making me think that OpenGL is now installed correctly. However, when I try to run sosumi again it looks like it’s about to open a window but then spits me out this:

If I displayed that command line response improperly, I apologize and someone please correct me on that.

Anyway, gosh I feel like I’m so close since that OpenGL first window demo worked just like the instructions said. But yet when launching sosumi, my command prompt still doesn’t see openGl on my machine.

Someone tell me that I’m missing something easy and simple!!!

Thanks, Core
