Snapcraft documentation reflects snapshots are stored on a traditional Ubuntu system at /var/lib/snapd/snapshots.
I have reviewed posts that discourage you from using symlinks for snaps, but is this also the case for snapshots alone? Snap snapshots are exceptional (ease of use and performance). I have saved and restored (moved) snapshots from one machine to another with ease. However, some snapshots can be quite large and I prefer to store these on a separate mount/data store.
Is this doable? Or discouraged?
