Hello, I am trying to use snaps on my computer. I recently installed snapd on Deepin OS, but for some reason it installed version 2.37.4-1+B1 and none of the snaps I want to use work with this version. Is there a way to force an update to the latest version?
Use sudo snap install snapd and try rebooting.
If that doesn’t work, try sudo snap install core and rebooting instead.
On Debian based distributions, snapd itself can run as a snap.
When I run sudo snap install snapd I get “error: cannot install “snapd”: cannot install snapd snap on a model without a base snap yet” and I already have core installed.
try installing core20 first …
