I am building a snap that uses the snapd-control interface. I understand this interface has no auto connection and is intended for branded stores.
Is it allowed to publish a snap that uses the shaped-control interface? I can manage with a manual connection.
No, only canonical owned snaps are typically allowed the snapd-control interface in the global store… it allows you to completely own the machines your snap is installed on which is why its use is only permitted to known owners of a device i.e. brand store owners that build device specific images to be shipped with the hardware…
