at least parts of snapcraftcontent dot com seem to be down, I have successfully installed core20 and snapd, but for lxd it says:
snap install lxd
error: cannot perform the following tasks:
- Download snap “lxd” (23155) from channel “stable” (received an unexpected http response code (503) when trying to download https://canonical-lgw01.cdn.snapcraftcontent.com/download-origin/canonical)
No big deal (I hope, unless it takes too long to resolve), but is there any way to do a kind of a “smoke test” to detect something like this without actually trying to install or upgrade something? In my case this is part of a somewhat complicated physical server reinstall with many moving parts that I would not like to start unless I’m fairly certain it will go smoothly, so I have a sort of pre-flight check, e.g. for RHEL I curl cdn.redhat.com, etc.
