On 22nd May (~00:00 UTC) we will start serving API requests on https://search.apps.ubuntu.com from a new internal service.

We expect no disruption to existing clients and no downtime. The cutover should not be perceived in any extent.

The new service was extensively tested to assure full compatibility with all active generations of clients (snapd 2.0.10 from 16.04 and forward) and will drastically improve reliability and capacity.

We’ll update this thread when the maintenance is complete or if we need to reschedule.

Maintenance began at ~00:04, and initial cutover completed. We are monitoring but please report any issues here.
