Hi,
As title says after removing nosnap.pref file and installing snapd and snap-store I’m stuck with a fully functional app that has no background, only white text and some pictures. I haven’t changed Mint’s default theme and have tried all themes, buttons and desktops in mint.
If some one could show me some help getting my snap-store gui working I’ll very gratefull.
my store version is 3.36.1 but I’ve tried the stable and edge channel as well nothing works.

I have the same issue in Pop OS 20.10. It looks like the store doesn’t provide it’s own styling and instead relies on the styling of the OS. I uninstalled and reinstalled snap store and managed to get it to run but have the following errors in the log:

Uninstalled all snaps except core and snapd which could not be removed. Purged the snapd apt package and removed all snapd’s leftover files and folders. Rebooted, installed the snapd apt package, rebooted so that the path is updated and reinstalled all the previous snaps but the snap-store GUI background is still transparent as illustrated in the screenshot below.

This issue has been fixed with the latest version of the snap-store snap package. @Lizard1978 The ‘desklet’ is called conky. The ‘desklet’ can be used with any linux desktop environment or window manager.
