Snap-store: fails, errors, and no access to OS settings and parameters

I can’t perform update from snap-store GUI:

  • Loading Updates... This could take a while takes indeed all the time in the world: I use mobile network to connect to the Internet, and this seemingly breaks snap-store;
  • Automatic Updates Paused and there’s nothing I can do about it because I can’t open network settings from snap-store GUI: it says Gs Error opening GNOME Control Center: Failed to execute child process “gnome-control-center” (No such file or directory).

(oddly enough, even snap-store timezone isn’t that I’ve set up system-wide: I live 2 hours ahead)
