Snap error when using remove install and refresh

I have been using snap for a while but since i mess up my path is just giving me the error
error: system does not fully support snapd: cannot mount squashfs image using “squashfs”: exec:
“mount”: executable file not found in $PATH
After i have purge and reinstall snapd it’s still giving my this error
when i do echo $PATH
echo $PATH
/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/games:/snap/bin:

Hi, what’s the output of snap version and which mount ?

snap version
snap 2.42.1+18.04
snapd 2.42.1+18.04
series 16
ubuntu 18.04
kernel 5.3.0-40-generic
which mount
/bin/mount

Do you see any sort of denials in the system journal when snapd runs? Try journalctl -e --no-pager | grep DENIED.

Also can you clarify by what exactly you mean with:

?

no denials when running the command
the one when i mess up my path is when my path originally broken when i try to add a new path after i restart the gui broke i fixed the gui but after that snap broke as well

Could you be more specific about the changes you made? Did you modify /etc/environment or some other file to change the path, etc. ?

i modified the path but i think my best options now is just to reinstall
