Snap chromium not call qBittorrent for magnet links

I installed chromium via snap, but when trying to download any file via torrent, qbittorrent is not called !!

Would there be anything to be done about this problem?

Is something else opening instead? Or nothing? Does qbittorrent open these links in other apps on your system? AFAIK, Chromium opens files with xdg-open, so it should follow your system’s defaults if set properly.

Yes, I tested some browsers… firefox, opera, brave, chrome… all of these normally open a magnet link!!

Yes, that is this known bug in snapd, unfortunately.
