The Slack snap is heavily outdated. Last update was in march, 3.1.1 while the latest Linux (deb) version is currently 3.2.0-beta.2.
There doesn’t seem to be a good way to contact them about this. Does anyone from the snapcraft team have a direct line to the people maintaining the Slack snap?
The snap info command shows contact details as: https://get.slack.help/hc/en-us. If you go there you’ll find a “contact us” button at the top of the page, where you will be able to drop them a note. I don’t know how well supported their snap distribution is currently, but dropping a note should be able to at least prod their devs a bit…
