Tried to add a new profile-image for new slack-workspace. In file-chooser window i clicked on a *.gif-file and slack immediatly and reproducable crashes. *.jpg is shown as preview-image and no crash.
When the first/newest image in a selected folder is a gif, the crash happens when selecting the folder. I converted an animated gif to single frames which where the the newest files than = crash. After deleting the new gif images the folder opens again and the preview image of a *.jpg file is shown.
“journalctl -f” shows the following at crash:
