Skype snap without audio

After installing the Skype snap it seems that audio from calls is not working, only the audio beeps from the interface are coming through. The snap is only supported in ‘–classic’ confinement so I tried to play with the interfaces to grant it access to PulseAudio. But I guess that’s not the issue.

An other user has the same problem on the latest Fedora. Can you have a look what we’re doing wrong? Thx guys.

Same problem on Manjaro, webcam ok, audio calls doesn’t work.

Same problem on Ubuntu Mate 18.04 and not only with Skype.
e. g. VLC gives an error:

Audio output failed:
The audio device “default” could not be used:
No such file or directory.

PulsAudio Volume Control doesn’t see these applications
