Skype only installing from command line with --classic command

Hi,

I tried to install Skype using the Software centre and it shows ‘installing’ for ever, but never installs Skype.

Trying to install Skype using the command line shows this line:

error: This revision of snap “skype” was published using classic confinement and thus may perform arbitrary system changes outside of the security sandbox that snaps are usually confined to, which may put your system at risk.

If you understand and want to proceed repeat the command including
   --classic.

Using the --classic command is no problem, but for users who do not use the command line, it might be a bad experience.

Thanks for reporting this issue. Could you please provide the output of the following two commands:- (paste them inside triple backticks to make it nice and formatted)

snap version

and

apt-cache policy gnome-software

Thanks!

snap 2.30 snapd 2.30 series 16 ubuntu 16.04 kernel 4.4.0-104-generic
