I updated to signal-desktop 6.47.0 but this version fails to initialize. One can see a blue screen and the processing dots, but nothing happens anymore, not even after a few minutes.
I had to revert to the previous version and this works fine. My system is Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS, Linux kernel 6.5.0-17

Thanks for this immediate action. I appreciate. As an individual user I am much in favour of snap packages and try to convince others that much of the criticism is not warranted.
This is now fixed, and the latest revision has been re-released!
