Requesting block-devices for smartctl-exporter-snap

We’re working on snapping smartctl exporter. This service requires access to the system block devices to read the SMART data.

We’re requesting permission to publish the snap with the block-devices interface.

hmm, it is super-privileged interface and may require publisher vetting. I am in favour of +1 to grant this snap “block-devices” interface.

+1 from me too since this is standard functionality for this snap. Can you clarify if you snap needs auto-connection for this interface or whether manual connection is sufficient?

Thanks! auto-connection would be ideal, as this is required functionality for it to operate. Are there any concerns about autoconnecting this interface in this context? :slight_smile:
