Request to remove/transfer vscodium snap

I created a vscodium snap for maintaining an unofficial package but now the upstream developer would like to distribute an official package.
I would therefore like to transfer the package name “vscodium” to the user @vscodium (stripedpajamas273@gmail.com), or would it be possible to delete the registered package name and register it in the upstream developer account?
