Please support Octave on arm64

I am using a Raspberry Pi 4B with Ubuntu 23.10. I am trying to install octave using snap but got the following error message.

$ sudo snap install octave error: snap “octave” is not available on stable for this architecture (arm64) but exists on other architectures (amd64).

Could the snap team please support octave on the arm64 platform?

The snap store supports arm64 if developers publish snaps for it. The Octave developers have not. Their issue tracker is linked from their store page, and is the right place to ask this kind of question.

Although, they don’t seem to be very responsive, sadly.
