New snap: Nextcloud Client

Hey everyone!

The introduction of the password-manager-service interface made a confined Nextcloud Client possible. We’d love to get it some use.

sudo snap install nextcloud-client

The password-manager-service interface is not automatically connected. If you want it to remember your password, you’ll need to connect it.

Other than that, point it to your Nextcloud instance and use it as normal! Please let us know if there are any issues.

Hi @kyrofa At moment I have some strange Issue with this Nextcloud client.

I have on one PC the Problem that after setup nextcloud one of two accounts not work. It only shows Wait for directory and then after some time id change to No connect to Nextcloud operation canceled
this Problem with this Nextcloud I only have on this computer. On all other Comptuer the connection work.
I removed the snap and reinstalled it but it made no change. I get every time the same error on the same of two Nextcloud accounts.

I tried to install #Nextcloud-client on a second PC there I get following error:

Is the snap gone?
It keeps reminding to update to version 2.6 but there seems to be no newer version.

Actually I can’t find the snap at all…

$ sudo snap install nextcloud-client
error: snap “nextcloud-client” not found
