Need a snap to zip and unzip files

Need a command line snap to zip and unzip files. Tried pzip-desktop and ark, but looks like both need GUI interface to work

Just going to ping this idea again. On Ubuntu Core, zip and unzip aren’t installed and snaps are pretty much the only game in town.

  • It’s hard for me to see the point of doing this, since it seems that in every package manager, the names of the two packages are zip and unzip, such as apt-get.
  • The unzip and zip are not the kind of applications that seem to need frequent updates. According to https://infozip.sourceforge.net/Zip.html , the last release of zip was in 2008. According to https://infozip.sourceforge.net/UnZip.html , the last release of unizp was in 2009.
