Mycroft has also started to publish our Wake Word spotter as a stand alone Snap.
Precise is a lightweight, simple-to-use, wake word listener. It includes all the tools to train your own recurrent neural network, and can be used in your own voice projects.
Many of the primary commands require the audio-record interface including running the listener, and collecting data samples for training.
As it is a specifically labelled as a “wake word listener”, the user would expect that it would have access to the microphone.
